The only limit to the height of your achievements is the reach of your dreams and your willingness to work for them. I take pride to be a part of my almameter, as a faculty, professor, head & director of KPSPGI of medicine.
Ever since I joined the department, my sincere effort is to carry on the legendary journey of this department and to open up newer avenues for faculty, students and every member of this department. In last few years, we've worked hard in renovating & rebuilding of institute of medicine department and upgrade it to the present day of modern requirements, both from teaching & health care point of view.
I along with the entire faculty are working hard to provide the appropriate environment, infrastructure & exposure to the clinical aspects of medicine to our under graduate & post graduate students. The results of our efforts are being reflected by the selection percentage in superspeciality courses which is higher than many other colleges of the state.
At present we are catering services to patients via ICU & HDU care, capacity of dialysis, endoscopy procedures have increased. General wards have been equipped with round the clock oxygen supply.
Beside treatment of diseases, our role as a clinician is also to spread knowledge about preventing diseases. Department is conducting various conferences, health checkups & awareness camps.
The launch of the website will help us take one step further in meeting our union and memories. This website is an attempt to provide an integrated platform for our students, patients, public & alumini.
